Anita partners with clients on waste mitigation, packaging redesign, and logistics improvements to advance material efficiency and carbon avoidance. She also lends her expertise to non-government organizations transitioning to durable and reusable packaging in the consumer goods industry. This work extends to standards development for packaging reuse, which builds on her decade plus tenure at WM Inc and WSP as Vice President of Circular Economy solutions where she led innovative programs for solid waste, recycling, reverse logistics, and bio-based materials.
Anita is currently a co-author and technical committee member for the UL 3600 Circular Economy Standard and has also served on the Department of Homeland Security Advisory Council: Sustainability and Efficiency Task Force. She is a LEED AP, TRUE Zero Waste Advisor, LEAN Six Sigma professional, and has a B.A in International Business from DePaul University.
