Ashley L. Camhi, Ph.D. is the Director of Innovative Finance for Forests and Climate at the Wildlife Conservation Society. She currently leads the work with the private sector in the implementation of a new mechanism for scaling finance for the conservation of large, intact tropical forests, HIFOR. As an environmental economist, Ashley has spent her career in the design and implementation of payment for ecosystem services schemes, from water to carbon at Amazon, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the World Bank.
