Ben Christensen

Founder & CEO
Cambium
Ben Christensen is the co-founder and CEO of Cambium, a company using AI and supply chain technology to connect and modernize the wood economy — building the infrastructure to source and produce traceable, made-in-the-U.S. wood products at scale, with soul. Ben grew up in rural New Mexico cutting firewood to heat his family home, and later earned a master’s from the Yale School of the Environment. An ultra-endurance athlete, he brings the same long-view discipline to building Cambium, which has raised $28.5M, works with a network of 500+ suppliers, and counts customers and partners including Amazon, Patagonia, Microsoft, National Geographic, and Room & Board.

Christensen has run ultramarathons since his teens, including 100–240 mile races, and was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 (2021).
