Ben Samways

Ben Samways is the Director of Project Development at Antora Energy, an energy technology company that is unlocking zero-emissions industrial heat and power, cheaper than fossil fuels. Antora’s thermal batteries convert low-cost, intermittent renewable electricity into reliable industrial energy.

Ben has more than 15 years of experience in various roles across the energy sector. He has led sales, engineering, project management, operations, and service teams in New Zealand, Australia, and more recently the United States.

His decarbonization journey started with implementing energy efficiency projects in buildings and on industrial sites, and has since progressed to include renewable power generation and more recently energy storage. Tackling industrial heat is the latest chapter in Ben’s journey.
