Ben Saunders

Ben leads the Climate & Sustainability engagement strategy for Apollo’s Private Equity portfolio representing about $100bn in AUM. He is responsible for integrating sustainability value creation initiatives throughout the investment lifecycle; engaging portfolio companies to develop, execute, and accelerate their sustainability strategies; and developing playbooks and partnerships to scale impact across the portfolio. Prior to joining Apollo, Ben helped build an Energy & Sustainability consulting business at Insight Sourcing Group. He was an original member of a team of three and grew the business to over 50 team members over seven years. Ben’s industry experience includes retail, grocery, telecom, manufacturing and industrials, and transportation.
