Bret Turner

Bret Turner is a Managing MD and Group Lead in Silicon Valley Bank’s project finance practice. He brings over 20 years of experience in credit and equity investing, focusing on energy and infrastructure. Bret spearheaded the bank’s move into project finance and his team has delivered more than $5.5 billion in debt commitments to clean energy projects since 2013. SVB is a leader in financing emerging companies in climate technology and sustainability, and Bret has focused on helping scale newer technologies and business models in such areas as renewable molecules, fuel cells, residential solar, small-scale solar, solar plus storage, stand-alone storage, and community solar. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in corporate finance from Louisiana State University.
