Brian Cook is Gulfstream Aerospace’s manager of Innovation and Product Strategy, where he leads initiatives that shape the future of business aviation. His responsibilities span capturing the voice of the customer, driving business intelligence, guiding environmental and regulatory strategies, and developing Gulfstream’s product and technology roadmaps.
Brian serves as a technical advisor to the International Coordinating Council of Aerospace Industries Association (ICCAIA) and sits on the advisory committee for the FAA’s Aviation Sustainability Center (ASCENT). He is also an FAA/ODA Engineering Authorized Representative for Acoustics, underscoring his deep technical expertise.
A recognized leader in sustainable aviation, Brian helped spearhead Gulfstream’s historic achievement of completing the world’s first transatlantic flight powered by 100% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). He also leads Gulfstream’s collaborative SAF emissions research with external partners that include the FAA, NASA, Missouri University of Science & Technology, and Aerodyne.
Since joining Gulfstream in 2008 as an Acoustical Engineer, Brian has held key roles including environmental strategist and group head of the Acoustics and Vibration team, where he advanced Gulfstream’s reputation for exceptionally quiet aircraft. He is a co-inventor on seven patents for aircraft noise reduction technologies, reflecting his commitment to innovation.
Brian holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the Georgia Institute of Technology, along with a Global Leadership certificate from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
