Brian Cook is Gulfstream’s manager of innovation and product strategy. Brian’s responsibilities include capturing the voice of the customer, business intelligence, environmental and regulatory strategy, and developing Gulfstream’s product and technology roadmaps. Brian is a technical advisor for the International Coordinating Council of Aerospace Industries Association (ICCAIA) and a member of the advisory committees for the FAA’s Environment and Energy Research, Engineering and Development (REDAC) and the FAA’s Aviation Sustainability Center (ASCENT). Brian is also an FAA/ODA Engineering Authorized Representative for Acoustics.
Brian joined Gulfstream in 2008 as an acoustical engineer. Prior to his current role, Brian has held roles as environmental strategist and group head for the acoustics and vibration team where he was responsible for the cabin acoustics, vibration, and community noise of Gulfstream’s exceptionally quiet aircraft. Brian is a co-inventor of six aircraft noise reduction patents.
Brian has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the Georgia Institute of Technology as well as a certificate in Global Leadership from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
