Candi Hampton
Candi’s role entails collaboration with internal stakeholders from product development, technical, and sourcing to optimize new and existing products with sustainability in mind. With more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing, product development, and enterprise excellence, she brings a breadth of process knowledge and extensive experience in quality, voice of the customer, and management system leadership to Shaw’s sustainability and product stewardship team.
Throughout her tenure on the corporate sustainability team, Candi has managed product certifications for soft surface products and helped the company reach new heights in alignment with its sustain[HUMAN]ability® strategy. Notably, Candi spearheaded the work that led to Shaw’s EcoWorx carpet tile becoming Cradle to Cradle Certified to the most rigorous standard yet – version 4.0.
Candi earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Polymer, Textile, & Fiber Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and is a member of the IGEL (Institute for Georgia Environmental Leadership) class of 2022.
