Chris Demers

Chris Demers is a member of the Living Progress team at HPE which advances sustainability. Chris was the Director of ESG at Juniper Networks (now part of HPE) where he ensured the company successfully advanced environmental, social and governance initiatives across its businesses, while navigating ESG requirements posed by regulators, investors, and customers. Prior, Chris was the Sustainability Lead at Supermicro Computer, and before that Senior Manager of Supply Chain Sustainability at SunPower Corporation. Before moving to the private sector, Chris worked at the US Agency for International Development as a Democracy, Human Rights and Governance Officer, working on programs across the globe that strengthened democratic institutions and incorporated aid effectiveness principles. A system’s thinker, he believes winning companies will rapidly embrace their role in protecting the earth’s climate and our natural resources.
