Christa Essig

Christa is with WBCSD and eager to support our global community of world-leading organizations transforming toward a net-zero, nature positive, just future for all. Previously, for almost a decade, she worked for Compass at Google managing sustainability programs for Food at Google, built the Farm To Table Program, and developed and co-led the ReGen Lab at Google, a sustainability built environment network for climate, water, ecology, and circularity. Her experiences also include working in environmental health, health equity, food security, food and farm policy, and food systems change at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, USDA, and as a consultant for NGO’s.
