Dan joined Ceres in 2016 and is the Program Director of the Ceres Company Network.
He guides the Company Network’s strategy for advancing sustainable business leadership—including taking action to stabilize the climate, protecting water and natural resources, and building a just and inclusive economy—with some of the most influential companies across all major sectors of the economy. Dan has co-authored pioneering reports on transition and physical climate risk in the banking sector. He is also the Chair of UNEP-FI’s Principles for Responsible Banking’s Civil Society Advisory Body.
Before joining Ceres, Dan spent nearly ten years at Broadscale Group, GreenOrder, and the Cleantech Group leading sustainability strategy consulting teams and managing client relationships. Dan began his environmental career at the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Wildlife Conservation Society.
Dan graduated cum laude from Connecticut College where he received a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies. He also holds master’s degrees in business administration and public administration from New York University.
