Dr. Diego Ibarra

Diego has nearly 20 years of experience in industry and consulting, driving sustainability and energy transition topics across various sectors, including the built environment, industrial goods, and energy.

He is a Senior Partner and the Americas Sustainability Lead at Roland Berger. Previously, he was the Executive Managing Director at ENGIE Impact, where he led the Strategy and Implementation business in North and South America. He also co-founded and was a partner at EA Buildings, a consulting firm dedicated to promoting sustainability and decarbonization in the built environment.

Diego holds a Doctoral degree and a Master’s degree from Harvard University, having spent seven years at Harvard and MIT on decarbonization, energy modeling, and building performance topics. He is a LEED Fellow and a Fulbright alumni.
