Ellen Shenette

Ellen is the Director of EDF’s Net Zero Accelerator (NZAA), a climate solutions and innovation web hub. Ellen works with companies to scale net zero emissions progress by 2050. EDF’s Net Zero Action Accelerator offers free solutions pathways, action steps, tools and webinars to help companies turn climate pledges into progress. Previously, Ellen was a member of the EDF Climate Corps program, helping to place top-tier graduate students in leading companies, cities and universities to accelerate clean energy projects. Prior to joining EDF, she worked with the Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts to perform sustainability audits of local businesses. Through her Simmons MBA coursework she developed supplier codes of conduct and estimated carbon emissions in manufacturing supply chains. Prior to her MBA, Ellen worked at MIT in higher education administration and she holds her undergraduate degree in English from Boston University.
