Elliot Stultz is Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Chief Sustainability Officer at Allstate Insurance Company. He leads a team of attorneys and paraprofessionals who provide legal advice and support in connection with a wide range of matters including Allstate’s $65 billion investment portfolio and Allstate’s strategic and commercial transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, securities issuances, and business contracts. Elliot’s team is also responsible for the legal work associated with Allstate’s reinsurance program, sustainability, and intellectual property. Elliot serves as an executive sponsor of Allstate’s employee network group for LGBTQ+ employees and allies.
Prior to joining Allstate, Elliot managed a team of investment professionals at TIAA in New York City and Charlotte, North Carolina. From 1988 through 1993, he was an associate at Shearman in Sterling in New York City. Elliot earned a BA from Dartmouth College, a JD from Vanderbilt University Law School and an MBA from the University of North Carolina. He participates in various industry associations and also serves as a member of the board of directors of The Steppenwolf Theater Company in Chicago and the Newport Art Museum in Rhode Island and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Hood Museum at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire.
