Emily Morris is an award-winning entrepreneur and is currently the Founder & CEO of Emrgy, a company that is transforming the vast real estate segment of water infrastructure into clean energy and water stewardship projects. Emrgy is currently operating grid-connected distributed energy projects in 4 US States and New Zealand, and has over 12,000 miles of water infrastructure under development exclusivity for near term scale-up.
Emily has secured over $32 million in venture capital to launch Emrgy on the global stage. She is also the Commercial Leader on $7 million in DOE contracts, and she is an inventor on 5 technology patents. The Atlanta Business Chronicle named Emily “Top 30 Under 30”, and she was awarded the 2025 Entrepreneur Award from the Society of Women Engineers. Emily is an Atlanta native and lives in west Buckhead with her husband Jason, her six-year-old son, Bennett and her one-year-old daughter Lia.
