Eric Nguyen

Eric Nguyen is the Chief Product Officer of WattTime, an environmental research nonprofit that has used AI to pioneer novel emissions-reducing innovations that have been adopted in over 500 million devices worldwide. WattTime is also the secretariat of Climate TRACE, a coalition of more than 100 universities, NGOs, tech companies, and researchers collaborating to monitor global greenhouse gas emissions. Climate TRACE uses satellites, AI, and open science to monitor the emissions of more than 340 million individual facilities and sources worldwide. In 2022, Fast Company named it the #5 most innovative companies in the world. Eric has dedicated his career to climate technologies for the last 15 years, with roles including the first launches of Google Earth Engine and serving as VP Engineering at Getaround, an international car sharing company.
