Evan Scandling

I have 15+ years of experience advising, developing and managing clean energy businesses, projects, and procurement strategies. Most recently, I’ve specialized in corporate clean energy and supply chain decarbonization in international markets.

I’m currently a sustainability manager with REI focused on accelerating the uptake of clean energy in product manufacturing.

In my previous role with Allotrope Partners, I collaborated closely with the World Resources Institute (WRI) and the U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) to lead the Clean Energy Investment Accelerator program in Vietnam to support the scale-up of corporate clean energy procurement. I also led corporate advisory projects in Asia, with an emphasis on supply chain renewable energy and decarbonization.

Prior to Allotrope, I was the country director of an international solar project developer in Myanmar. I was responsible for establishing the company’s Myanmar office in 2014 and oversaw strategy, operations, business development and sales. I’ve been fortunate to live and work in North America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. I hold a BA from the University of Puget Sound and earned a Green Finance Specialist certification from the Renewables Academy AG (RENAC) Berlin.
