Genevieve Bennett directs strategic outreach at Forest Trends, building partnerships to mobilize finance at scale through thought leadership, demonstration projects, and activation of unusual coalitions. She has fifteen years of experience in environmental markets and finance, with expertise in innovative models in the bioeconomy and restoration economy, carbon markets, climate finance, biodiversity crediting, and water markets. Genevieve is also currently a Correspondent for Impact Entrepreneur magazine and an elected member of the Natural Climate Solutions Alliance Steering Committee. She was one of the founding advisors on the world’s first nature-based startup accelerator, and currently is a Board-level advisor on a social enterprise focused on regenerative agriculture and building market channels/consumer demand for bioregional food systems. She holds an MSc from the London School of Economics, a certificate in alternative investment from Harvard Business School Online, and a BA from New York University.
