Gillian Lui

At REI, Gillian leads enterprise strategy for carbon data and carbon markets in service of REI’s SBTi and Net Zero commitments. Her work focuses on driving efficiency, accuracy, and accountability across REI’s carbon data management ecosystem, and implementing REI’s next-generation carbon markets portfolio – with a focus on catalytic finance, community outcomes, and driving market accessibility.

Her previous experience includes advancing ESG strategy at Lyft; advising on supply chain ESG risk management across Fortune 500 companies at advocacy non-profit Ceres; and driving global climate solutions across sustainable agriculture, clean energy, and climate innovations at The Packard Foundation. She holds an MBA from Yale School of Management, an M.Phil in Forest Conservation from University of Cambridge, and a B.A. in Environmental Science from Middlebury College.
