Graham Webb is chief sustainability officer and also leads advanced commercial engine programs for Pratt & Whitney, the company that introduced the GTF™ family of engines in 2016 to drive down the environmental impact of the latest generation of commercial airframes. In this role, Webb leads the development and execution of Pratt & Whitney’s propulsion technology and product roadmaps in partnership with government, academia, and industrial partners, while also communicating Pratt & Whitney’s capabilities and achievements to key constituencies.
Prior to his current role, Webb led the Geared Turbofan engine business for the Airbus A220 and Embraer E-Jet E2 aircraft where he successfully certified and entered service for all 4 variants of these current production aircraft. Webb previously served as executive chief engineer during the development and certification of all five of Pratt & Whitney’s Geared Turbofan engine models.
Webb’s over 30-year career has included multiple leadership roles in gas turbine technology, product development, and general management during which he has successfully led development and production implementation for a wide and diverse range of gas turbine engines spanning heavy-duty power generation engines, liquid rocket engines, and multiple commercial and military gas turbine engines.
