
Grayson Shor
Grayson Shor is a battery and critical minerals circularity expert with over 12 years of experience scaling multi-million-dollar sustainability programs across five continents. He brings a unique blend of experience from industry, government, and civil society. Currently, he is the Circular Economy Fellow at The New York Climate Exchange, a global climate change solutions institute.
Prior to this role, Grayson led Amazon Worldwide Operations’ circular economy and battery sustainability program, where he was responsible for developing and scaling resource efficient solutions for 1.2 million employees across more than 20 countries.
His experience includes serving as a U.S. diplomat, lead environmental intelligence briefer to Secretary John Kerry, humanitarian aid worker, and restaurant owner. Grayson launched the world’s largest commercial EV fleet operator’s first battery circularity program, has contributed to over 200 U.S. government sustainability policy documents, managed a more than $20M climate-focused philanthropic grant portfolio, and guest lectures at Georgetown university on climate security. Grayson grew up on a ranch in Santa Barbara and in his free time enjoys wilderness backpacking and playing blues guitar.
