Grayson Shor is a circular economy and battery expert with 12+ years of experience scaling multi-million-dollar sustainability programs in the public, private, and NGO sectors across five continents. Currently, Grayson leads Amazon Worldwide Operations’ circular economy and battery sustainability program, impacting 1.2+ million employees across 20+ countries. His diverse background includes serving as a U.S. diplomat and lead environmental intelligence briefer to Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry, representing the U.S. in UN negotiations on plastic pollution, launching the world’s largest commercial EV fleet operator’s first battery circularity program, and managing a $20M+ climate-focused philanthropic grant portfolio. Grayson has contributed to 200+ U.S. government sustainability policy documents, been quoted in articles by Reuters, the Huffington Post, and the Japan Times, and guest lectures at Georgetown University. Grayson grew up on a ranch in Santa Barbara, plays blues guitar, and previously owned a health food cafe.
