Greg is innately interested in all aspects of engineering, but was lucky enough to fall into designing data centers despite training in electrical transmission systems. He spent the first 9 years of his postgrad career working for one of the world’s most significant engineering consultancies in London, working for a wide range of clients on designs for their data centers. In his current role, he oversees Global Engineering Development and Innovation within the Global Design function at Equinix. Greg sets design direction of Equinix’s global portfolio of $26bn 100+ projects under management through his responsibilities. Greg is approaching 10 years with Equinix in the US, based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
