Jason Hisey

Jason Hisey is Senior Solutions Manager for Supply Chain and Sustainability at Staples Promotional Products, a trusted brand merchandiser to over 300 Fortune-ranked brands. Jason’s work encompasses both internal operations and supply chain. His objective is to progressively improve sustainability performance and transparency not only for Staples Promo, but also for its supply chain partners. By extension, his work improves the alignment of the company’s products and services with the sustainability values of client brands.

In 2022, Staples Promo launched Green Light Responsible sourcing, the industry’s only third-party assessed sustainable procurement program. The platform leverages annual EcoVadis assessments for Staples Promo’s internal operations and its supplier partners. As of 2024, 73% of the company’s procurement spend was through suppliers participating in Green Light.

Green Light is the centerpiece of Staples Promo’s annual CSR report, to which Jason has contributed to annually since 2022. The report also contains much of his analysis and reporting which includes emissions, sustainability strategy, goals, and metrics. Most recently, he led the implementation of a reuse program to divert obsolete inventory from landfill to charity.

Based in Kansas City, Jason has a B.S. in Marketing from Kansas State University. When not at work, he can be found enjoying craft beer, live music, or traveling with his wife and son.
