
JoAnne Murphy
Prior to Opella, JoAnne worked for Colgate Palmolive for more than 20 years in various roles, including analytics, brand marketing, shopper marketing, and communications. During her tenure, JoAnne served as the Marketing Director for Tom’s of Maine, a natural personal care products subsidiary, as well as the company’s North America Division Sustainability and Communications Lead. In this role, she effectively communicated goals and progress to key stakeholders, including consumers, retailers, senior management, NGOs, and external constituents, on initiatives related to packaging, water conservation, community outreach, and life-cycle analysis.
JoAnne earned her Bachelor of Science in Economics & Finance from Montclair State University and her MBA from Rutgers University.
