Joe Árvai

Joe Árvai was previously the Max McGraw Professor of Global Sustainable Enterprise and director of the Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise at the University of Michigan. His research and consulting focused on advancing our understanding of how people — working individually and in groups — process information and make decisions, with a specific emphasis on how people make tradeoffs. He also worked on developing and testing decision-aiding tools and approaches that people can use to improve decision quality across a wide range of environmental, social and economic contexts.
