Joe Árvai is the Director of the Wrigley Institute for Environment and Sustainability, and the Dana and David Dornsife Professor of Psychology, Environmental Studies, and Biological Sciences at the University of Southern California. His research focuses on how people formulate their attitudes and beliefs, how they make judgments and decisions, and how they ultimately behave against the backdrop of a wide range of risks and opportunities. Joe is a member of the U.S. EPA’s Chartered Science Advisory Board and of the National Academies of Sciences Board on Atmospheric Science and Climate. He also appears frequently as a media commentator and serves as an advisor to a broad range of businesses and NGOs.
