Joe Hayden

Joe has been in demand response for over 9 years having managed the pinnacle example of why these programs exist, and that was overseeing communications and crisis response for hundreds of MW’s of load for one of the largest DR company’s in ERCOT during the week of winter storm Uri. The extreme conditions of that storm put ERCOT on the precipice of disaster and validated that DR is a critical path forward for all companies to participate if we are to successfully grow our country’s leadership goals across the globe. Joe has been VP of ERCOT for CPower and VP of North America Revenue for Ireland based GridBeyond. Joe was instrumental in the partnership announced by Constellation in late July with the priority to capture 1GW of DR in PJM in order to accelerate the site approvals of expected electricity demands from AI and on-shore manufacturing. Joe lives in the Dallas area and juggles 10 grandkids whenever he has a spare moment to bottle that joy.
