Kaitlin Crouch-Hess
Executive Director of Climate Finance
RMI
Kaitlin Crouch-Hess is Executive Director of Climate Finance at RMI (Rocky Mountain Institute), where she leads strategy to advance credible, high-impact climate finance across the global financial system. In her current role, she focuses on increasing the visibility and bankability of post-demonstration clean technologies and resilience investments while redefining what effective bank leadership looks like in the energy transition—moving institutions from ambition and commitments to decision-useful insight, portfolio action, and real-world investment outcomes.
Before joining RMI, Kaitlin spent over a decade in the banking industry, most recently as global climate lead at ING, where she developed and implemented the bank’s climate strategy and led the Terra Approach — a pioneering program aligning a $700+ billion portfolio with the goals of the Paris Agreement.
