Karen Fang

Karen Fang is Managing Director, Global Head of Sustainable Finance at Bank of America and serves on the company’s Management Committee. She works across BofA’s eight lines of business to drive the implementation of its firm-wide sustainable finance strategy and goal of mobilizing and deploying $1.5 trillion in sustainable finance capital by 2030.

Karen is a leader in global net zero and sustainable finance forums, including groups organized by the G7, G20 and B20, United Nations and World Economic Forum (WEF). She has been named one of Fortune’s “40 under 40”and a WEF Young Global Leader, among other recognitions.

Prior to joining BofA, Karen held senior positions at Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank. She earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Tokyo.
