Karina Alventosa, PhD

Karina Alventosa, PhD is a Principal Consultant in Sustainability at Cority. She works with her clients to efficiently collect high quality data and decarbonize their organizations through ambitious target setting. She is responsible for management of advisory services and several client relationships, with a focus on assisting customers with robust supply chain engagement and streamlined reporting to various voluntary and legal entities including CDP and CSRD. She received her doctorate from Princeton University in Civil and Environmental Engineering, with a focus on the design of low CO2 alternative cement. She holds a Bachelors and Masters degree from Brown University in engineering. She is LEED AP BD+C accredited and a licensed Professional Engineer in NY and CA, with over a decade of experience in sustainable materials, climate research, building design and renovation.
