Katheryn Scott is the Principal Strategist for Industrials at the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations as well as the lead author on two DOE Pathway to Commercial Liftoff Reports on Industrial Decarbonization and Long Duration Energy Storage. Kate is responsible for the development of OCED’s programs across the industrials sector and connecting the dots across stakeholders to achieve accelerated decarbonization in must-abate sectors. Prior to joining DOE, Kate worked as consultant at Bain & Company, received a B.S. from MIT in Material Science and Engineering and a M.MSc. in Global Affairs and Policy on a Schwarzman Scholarship in Beijing.
