Kayla Griffin-Shoals

I’m a student working at the intersection of architecture, urban design, and environmental sustainability, with early hands on experience in design development, construction coordination, and community centered planning. I’ve contributed to a range of projects including site analysis, sustainable remediation, civic design, and infrastructure planning often as part of interdisciplinary teams. My involvement in both large scale construction sites and grassroots design efforts has helped me start building a foundation in how thoughtful design can serve communities. I’m continuing to grow my skills in tools like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and BIM, and learning how participatory design and environmental awareness can shape more inclusive, resilient spaces.
