Kei Ikegami is the founder and CEO of Planet Savers, Japan’s first direct air capture (DAC) startup, leveraging world-class zeolite sorbent synthesis technology developed at the University of Tokyo. Before founding Planet Savers, Kei began his career at JICA, where he worked on energy infrastructure development projects in the Middle East. He later joined SoftBank Robotics, leading global business development. After that, Kei founded and exited an education startup, demonstrating his ability to scale mission-driven ventures. Kei holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Public Policy from the Kyoto University.
