Kelly W. Fisher is the Head of Corporate Sustainability, Americas for HSBC Bank, appointed in 2015. In her role she has helped to expand HSBC’s leadership role in sustainability and philanthropy, creating a social impact strategy tied to HSBC’s business expertise, and launching HSBC’s U.S. volunteer program “Involve”, a model that greatly increased volunteerism. Now she is helping to drive the bank’s strategy to be net zero by 2050.
Kelly joined HSBC after seven years at Toyota Motor North America, where she spearheaded environmental and safety programs that were recognized for having a meaningful impact while greatly improving corporate reputation. In her tenure there she also created Toyota’s first-ever social media giving campaign, called “100 Cars for Good”. Kelly was recognized as a leader in the public health space, as she helped take a small, local child passenger safety program called “Buckle Up for Life” and expand it to leading children’s hospitals and Hispanic and Black faith-based organizations across the US.
Prior to that, she worked for four years at Goldman Sachs, acting as a program manager for Community TeamWorks, the global volunteer program, and overseeing the global internal marketing campaign.
Kelly also has expertise in 360 communications, with experience at Young & Rubicam, VSA Partners and Ogilvy & Mather. She was honored with the President’s Volunteer Service Award and has served on the boards of DoSomething.org and Corporate Volunteers of New York, and currently serves on the board of Women in Sustainability Leadership Awards.
