Kevin Whilden

Kevin is a geologist and social impact entrepreneur. Kevin is Co-Founder of SeaTrees, a California non-profit that develops blue carbon and marine biodiversity projects around the world. SeaTrees protects and restores kelp forests, coral reefs, mangrove forests, seagrass meadows, and many other coastal ecosystems.

Kevin studied climate change in Antarctica in the 90’s and has worked in many climate change related fields, including carbon offset development, ocean carbon sequestration science, renewable energy development.
