For more than two decades, Larkin has led and supported leaders of complex organizations and initiatives to improve equitable results, and to turn difficulty into development. He coaches climate leaders in a number of roles, is a certified coach through the International Coaching Federation and Brown University, and has trained as a systems facilitator through the Annie E. Casey Foundation.
Larkin also founded MAYA, a Latina-owned and led consulting practice with a purpose to support equity and wellbeing in community so we all live a good life. He also managed a regional charter school network and served in the Obama Administration. Larkin lives in Austin with his wife, Katie, and their five children. He is Vice Chair of the Board for the Center for the Study of Social Policy in Washington DC and is the President of Temple Beth Shalom. Larkin is also a former foster parent and kidney donor. He has run 36 marathons with the goal of completing a marathon in all 50 states and Washington D.C.
