Lauren Benne

Director, Global Corporate Responsibility
TE Connectivity
Lauren Benne is senior corporate responsibility and philanthropy leader with over a decade of experience building and leading global strategies at the intersection of business, technology, and society.

Lauren currently serves as the Director, Global Corporate Responsibility at TE Connectivity and the President & Executive Director of the TE Connectivity Foundation. Lauren conceptualized and leads the company’s environmental, social and governance strategy, One Connected World, and is responsible for the company’s stakeholder management, reporting and governance. She also leads the company’s social impact programs, spanning STEM education, workforce development, and AI for good, connecting companies, engineers, policymakers, nonprofits, and communities for innovation and measurable impact. She also co-leads the company’s human rights program, product sustainability initiatives and serves on the company’s inclusion and environmental sustainability steering committees. As Executive Director, she manages a board of executives who fulfill the Foundation’s mission of increasing access to technology and engineering, particularly for women and underserved communities.

Before joining TE Connectivity, Lauren worked at the Global Business Alliance (formerly the Organization for International Investment), collaborating with over 100 multinational companies on tax and trade advocacy.

Prior to GBA, Lauren was a fellow at the U.S. Department of Commerce’s SelectUSA initiative which attracts foreign direct investment to the United States.

Lauren graduated magna cum laude from the George Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from the Elliott School. She also has studied at the Universitat de Barcelona and has lived in Thailand.

In her personal time, Lauren can be found enjoying the vibrant city of Washington, DC with her wife and dog, Lady.
