Lauren Benton

Lauren Benton is the General Manager for Back Market in the United States. Back Market is the global leader in verified refurbished technology whose mission is to prolong the lifespan of electronic devices through circularity and repair.

Lauren joined Back Market in 2019 and leads the rapidly scaling US marketplace of certified technology resellers offering consumers affordable, high-quality devices that are a more sustainable alternative to buying new technology.

Prior to Back Market, Lauren held numerous sales and sales leadership roles in industries ranging from pharmaceuticals to SaaS. Most recently she held sales and product ownership positions at Audible, Amazon’s audiobook division, spearheading the ideation and development of the company’s first B2B offering to schools and employers.

Lauren lives in Jersey City, NJ where she, her husband and rambunctious toddler most enjoy the boardwalk and going down slides. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Miami University, the one in Ohio, not in Florida.
