Leah Lord is National Program Manager for Forest Landowner Support initiatives at the U.S. Forest Service. Prior to this role, Leah served in the Forest Service’s National Partnership Office and managed technical cooperation work throughout Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Southern Africa for the agency’s International Programs Office. Before transitioning to the public sector, Leah served in asset management strategy, business management, and corporate treasury roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Leah began her career in the nonprofit sector, working for NGOs and a private family foundation to support grassroots environmental conservation in Eastern Russia and build watershed conservation efforts in Michigan. Leah has dual masters’ degrees in Business Administration and Environmental Science from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in Russian and East European Studies from Yale University. Leah also studied international relations and Russian language at Far Eastern State University in Vladivostok, Russia.
