Lindsay Arell
With over two decades of experience, Lindsay’s career highlights include leading the development of the ASM Global Acts Sustainability Plan, a comprehensive framework to achieve sustainability goals for the world’s largest venue manager. She also spearheaded the ISO 20121 Certifications for Lincoln Financial Field and SoFi Stadium, marking them as the first venues of their kind to receive this certification. Additionally, Lindsay founded the Sustainable Sport Index, the sports industry’s first global benchmarking project focused on the sustainability impacts of teams, leagues, and venues.
Lindsay has collaborated with a diverse range of organizations, and is well-versed in leading sustainability standards and frameworks such as LEED, ISO 20121, ISO 14001, GRI, and EIC APEX. Her innovative approach emphasizes creativity and resourcefulness in achieving sustainability goals.
Recognized for her leadership and contributions to sustainability, Lindsay has received numerous accolades, including being named one of VenuesNow’s 2023 All-Stars and a “One to Watch” by Sports Business Journal in 2023. She has also been honored as one of the “Top 25 Women in the Meeting and Events Industry” and received the Convention Industry Council’s PaceSetter Award for Sustainability.
Her early career includes being the first sustainability manager for a venue at the Colorado Convention Center in 2007, further establishing her as a leader in the field.
Lindsay holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is based in Crested Butte, Colorado.
