Maure Creager
In her current role as Circular Economy Manager at CertainTeed Roofing, Maure leads the development of circular economy solutions. Her extensive technical expertise, industry knowledge, and commitment to the environment make her a formidable force in the field. Maure brings impeccable technical skills to every endeavor, building on her engineering education and over 20 years of experience as a project manager, mechanical engineer, and global product manager.
Maure combines her passion for sustainability in the built environment and at home with a unique perspective informed by her construction knowledge. As a registered LEED AP BD+C, she has contributed her strong technical and professional credentials to regional professional organizations. For Maure, sustainability is more than a career track – it’s a way of life. Growing up in rural South Dakota, she learned the importance of a healthy environment through activities such as farming, ranching, hunting, and fishing. Her childhood experiences, including lessons from her grandparents on reusing and repurposing items, shaped her perspective on the sustainability issues she tackles professionally.
Maure graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in mechanical engineering. When she’s not hard at work creating a circular economy for asphalt materials, she enjoys watching or coaching her girls in their various sports and activities, exploring the outdoors especially our national parks, traveling, and perfecting baked nachos for Kansas City Chiefs’ games.
