McGee Young

McGee is the Founder and CEO of WattCarbon, the measurement and verification platform for the energy transition. Prior to WattCarbon, McGee was CTO at Recurve, where he developed CalTRACK and the OpenEEmeter. While at Recurve, McGee built the first pay-for-performance demand flexibility programs as well as California’s Market Access Programs. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, McGee was a tenured faculty member at Marquette University, having earned a PhD in Political Science from Syracuse University in 2004. While at Marquette, McGee founded two companies, H2Oscore and MeterHero, becoming Marquette’s first Faculty Entrepreneur Fellow at the Kohler Center for Social Entrepreneurship.
