Mitch Best

Mitch began his career at UBS, working on over $1B in exits for lower middle market companies across the U.S. His focus on ESOPs (employee stock ownership plans) sparked a mission to expand employee ownership, recognizing the alignment it creates within organizations.

After leaving banking, he helped scale a supply chain software startup focused on recycled plastics. During this time, he saw firsthand the challenges facing the circular economy and realized that real change required boots-on-the-ground action.

Following the birth of his second child, Mitch left the startup, bought into Direct Polymers, and launched Brave Industries to unite recyclers and build a circular, profitable supply chain for the future.
