Mo McNally is a seasoned leader in corporate social impact with deep expertise in aligning purpose-driven work to business strategy. As the Head of Community Responsibility Engagement and Systems at MassMutual and Vice President of the MassMutual Foundation, Mo connects social impact strategies across business functions through volunteerism, impact measurement, and operational excellence.
Prior to MassMutual, Mo led strategic philanthropy and operations for private foundations at a boutique consulting firm in Boston. Mo came to philanthropy with 10 years of experience in the nonprofit sector focused on housing, homelessness, and healthcare, where she developed a strong understanding of the complex challenges facing our communities and the importance of centering the community voice in solutions. Mo began her career as a full-time AmeriCorps volunteer at a medical shelter for adults experiencing homelessness in Washington, D.C.
Mo earned an MBA and certificate in sustainability from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a master’s degree in fundraising and philanthropy from DePaul University, and a bachelor’s degree in public affairs from Indiana University.
Based in Amherst, MA, Mo enjoys being outdoors and exploring new places with her family, whether it’s hiking, kayaking, or simply enjoying nature together.
