Nancy Meyer
In her five years at Nike, Nancy served as Chair of the Climate Working Group and expanded company’s the Climate Strategy into an enterprise-wide initiative. She also quadrupled supplier access to renewable energy over five years, reduced Scope 3 emissions by 30% and influenced 150+ suppliers to reduce their GHG emissions.
Nancy led her team to receive several honors including an RE100 Leadership Award and a Nike Maxim Award, as voted on by 80,000 employees. Her previous two roles at Nike were Director on the Responsible Supply Chain and Sustainable Manufacturing and Sourcing teams.
Previously, Nancy was VP of Corporate Engagement at the Center of Climate and Energy Solutions, a non-profit think tank, where she advised over 40+ businesses as the Leader of the Business Environmental Leadership Council.
For the 12 years prior, Nancy served as Director at consultancy IHS Markit, as Research Analyst at the Government Accountability Office and in the US Peace Corps in Azerbaijan. She started her career as Director of Volunteers at Second Helpings, a non-profit hunger relief agency.
As a thought leader on climate action, voluntary carbon markets and climate policy, Nancy has spoken at three COPs, Innovation Forum and Sustainable Apparel Coalition. Her climate risk op ed was featured in the Wall Street Journal and her white paper on global energy transitions was published by the World Economic Forum.
Nancy holds an MPA from Indiana University’s O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs and a BA in international business and French from University of Indianapolis School of Business.
