Ofri Ben Porat
Chief Revenue Officer
OctaiPipe
Ofri Ben-Porat is Chief Revenue Officer at OctaiPipe, where he is on a mission to cut data centre cooling energy consumption by 30%, without ripping out hardware, replacing BMS systems, or compromising SLAs. With nearly two decades spent commercialising deep tech for critical infrastructure, Ofri specialises in taking advanced AI out of the lab and into the operational core of industries where uptime, efficiency, and safety are non-negotiable.
Before OctaiPipe, Ofri spent nine years as Co-Founder and CEO of Edgify, the federated edge-learning company, which he scaled to over 25% US market penetration and into Tier-1 enterprise deployments. That experience, turning frontier research into infrastructure-grade software running at industrial scale, is what he now brings to the data centre industry, an industry under unprecedented pressure from AI workloads, grid constraints, and ballooning energy demand.
At OctaiPipe, Ofri leads global commercial strategy and US expansion, working alongside partners including ABB to embed Edge AI directly into the operational fabric of data centres worldwide. His thesis is simple: the next decade of data centre growth won’t be won by who builds the biggest sites, it’ll be won by who runs them most efficiently.
