Olubamise (Bamise) Onabanjo

Olubamise Onabanjo is a lawyer and sustainability practitioner currently serving as Manager of Sustainability Reporting at e.l.f. Beauty. In this role, she leads the tracking, preparation, and publication of the company’s mandatory and voluntary sustainability disclosures across multiple jurisdictions, including energy and carbon-related disclosures, modern slavery and forced labor compliance, and sustainability-related disclosures in SEC filings among other regulatory requirements. She supports enterprise-wide sustainability compliance, governance, strategy, and risk management and disclosures within the e.l.f Beauty’s supply chain. She also manages enterprise-wide sustainability-related trainings.

Olubamise provides guidance on operationalizing sustainability through effective governance structures, stakeholder engagement, supplier management, and accountability mechanisms, while ensuring alignment between sustainability considerations and business priorities

Previously, Olubamise worked in law firms advising companies and investors on building and integrating ESG and sustainability programs across compliance, risk, opportunity, and innovation. Drawing on her background as a lawyer and development policy specialist, she supported organizations in mapping their operations to ESG regulations and material topics, including managing compliance gaps.

She has extensive experience with leading voluntary standards and frameworks, including GRI, SASB, IFRS S1 and S2, CDP, TCFD, and GRESB, among others. Olubamise brings a global perspective to her work, having supported companies and investors across North America, Africa, Asia, and Europe.
