Parag Soni

Parag Soni is the Global Head of Utility Strategy and Engagement at Prologis, where he leads the company’s global approach to utility partnerships and grid strategy. He is responsible for strengthening relationships with electric utilities across Prologis’ footprint, enabling access to power, and advancing infrastructure solutions that support clean energy development, data centers, and other energy-intensive operations.

Working at the intersection of utilities, regulators, and private sector partners, Parag helps unlock grid capacity and accelerate the deployment of distributed energy resources, including solar, battery storage, EV charging, and building electrification. He collaborates closely with internal policy and regulatory teams to help shape and influence energy policy, grid modernization efforts, and market opportunities.

With more than 30 years of experience in the global energy sector, Parag brings deep expertise in energy transition, project finance, and strategic advisory. Prior to Prologis, he was President of Western Power Project Advisors, leading engagements in grid modernization, energy storage, regulatory strategy, and electrification. His work includes supporting the deployment of 100,000 electric vehicles across the Western U.S., and advising organizations such as the New York Power Authority, Long Island Power Authority, Microsoft, and Stanford University.
