Patrick is a Principal with the Climate-Aligned Industries Program at RMI, where he leads work focused on ammonia and fertilizers, hydrogen infrastructure, and hydrogen system innovation. In these streams he leads work focused on deployment potential and system design, market evolutions, and the shape of next generation traded markets. Patrick has been widely cited on emerging clean technologies, with particular focus on applications for hydrogen in the industrial space. Previously at RMI, he worked with the Business Renewables Center where he focused on tax equity and PPA deal structures, and as part of RMI’s Mining team, he led work focused on on-site renewable resource development. Patrick previously worked in the Irish Parliament where he led work supporting the Public Accounts and Finance Committees, as well as extensive experience working with European Institutions through various roles. Patrick Holds a B.A., & M.Econ.Sc. from University College Dublin, and an M.A. Infrastructure and Energy Economics from the Johns Hopkins University.
