Rahul Barua

Rahul Barua is Salesforce’s Director of Climate Finance Innovation, where he leads Salesforce’s carbon markets program and supports additional activities to scale finance for climate solutions.

Prior to his work in corporate climate action, Rahul focused on accelerating investment for universal energy access in sub-Saharan Africa. He designed the African Development Bank’s Africa Mini-Grid Market Acceleration Program and supported several of the Bank’s first transactions in clean cooking, off-grid solar home systems, and mini-grids. He was a member of the CleanStar Ventures development team in Mozambique and East Africa, and is a co-founder and board member of the EnAccess Foundation. Rahul lives in Connecticut.
